Now that Nvidia’s new Turing-based GPU generation has been unveiled to the world, here comes the word of OEM support. Acer has announced that their Predator gaming desktops, the Orion series, will be receiving support for the new GeForce RTX graphics cards.
The Orion 9000 is confirmed to support the top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti which on paper is an absolute beast. The Orion 5000 and Orion 3000 will be equipped with the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2070 respectively.
No word on availability just yet, but if you’re a PC gamer that’s more comfortable with buying OEM desktops and money is not an obstacle, the refreshed Predator Orion series is worth putting on your radar.
