The Outer Worlds Will Be Getting Story DLC Next Year

The Outer Worlds, Obsidian’s latest RPG, is a good one. But for those munching at the bit for more content, there’s good news.

On the Obsidian forums, it was revealed that the team are now working on DLC to expand the story.

Unfortunately, that’s all the news- more details will have to wait. But we do have confirmation of DLC.

The forum post also has a short message by the two game directors, Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky:

“We just wanted to personally thank our team for doing a wonderful job and our fans for their tremendous support.

“And Tim would like to say what an honor it was to work with me.” – Leonard

“Whatever, Leonard. Now that we’ve finished, I expect that certain photographs will be destroyed, as per our agreement.”– Tim

Don’t worry it’s just banter. At least that’s what we think it is.

The Outer Worlds recently got a new update adding more setting options, including an FOV slider, on all platforms. If you haven’t done yet, go check our review here.
