The Outer Worlds Gets A New Update, Lets You Change FOV And Other Settings On All Platforms

Obsidian’s fabulous new first-person RPG The Outer Worlds is getting another update. It’s a long list of bug fixes, but there are few new settings added for all platforms, as requested by the community.

Chromatic aberration, controller aiming sensitivity, head bobbing and FOV are all adjustable settings across all platforms. Large text mode that was added on the last update now applies to examinables too.

The rest is a long list of bug fixes. And, peculiarly, a fix to the credits. Two new focus tester names and one uncredited developer now get added. Hey, gotta give credits where credits due.

You can read through the whole patch notes here. Update 1.2 should be live now.

The Outer Worlds has its rough edges, but our review found it to still be a great RPG.
