The Outer Worlds Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

CRPG on the go

Here’s a surprise one. Obsidian’s big new RPG The Outer Worlds is coming to Nintendo Switch.

The Switch port will be handled by Virtuos, a company known for remasters and ports.

It’s quite a surprise announcement, and an interesting one- just how many CRPGs, or Western RPGs of this style on the portable console. To the point that the announcement video is mostly explaining the nature of game- choices that matter, play the game how you like, gray morality, allies you can recruit, the flaw system where you can take a permanent debuff for a new perk. Stuff we’ve known so far.

There’s no release date yet, so Switch players will possibly need to wait a bit longer for the port. The Outer Worlds will be out first on PS4, PC (Epic Games Store) and Xbox One on October 25th.
