Sony and Naughty Dog has revealed that their masterpiece action title, The Last of Us, is now being remade for both the PlayStation 5 and PC during the recent Summer Game Fest livestream.
Launching first on PS5 this September, Sony has state that this remake is a “Total overhaul of the original experience, faithfully reproduced with modernized gameplay”, which is a rather interesting connotations for a title that celebrating it’s 10 anniversary next year.
And while players will be getting the PS5 version in 3 months time, the game is also coming to PC in a later date, which is the more interesting thing within this announcement. How this will be different than the original version, or the remaster on PS4, we shall see.
The Last of Us Part 1 will be out for PS5 on 2nd September, with the PC port of the remake coming soon.
