Geoff Keighley’s now mainstay game awards/announcements show The Game Awards has revealed its list of nominees for 2019.
The Game Awards 2019 see games from December 2018 eligible as games from that month were not eligible for last year’s awards. As such, this year’s cut-off date is November 15th, with games released after that being pushed to next year’s. The nominees for each category are selected by 80 different outlets from around the world (though it is missing any representation from Southeast Asia). Geoff Keighly himself is not part of the jury or the nomination process.
Each category is open to fan voting, though it will influence only 10% of the result, with the rest being decided by the voting jury.
