The First FIA Nations Cup And Manufactures Cup Race For Gran Turismo Sport Starts This Weekend

Gentlemen, start your engines. Gran Turismo Sport’s very serious Sport Mode will start the much lauded FIA Nations Cup and FIA Manufactures Cup this weekend. Players will be competing either for the proud of their country or supporting their favourite car manufacture.

This is only the test season, with only four rounds of competition each taking place in the weekend throughout November. The first race for the Nations Cup is on Saturday, November 4 whereas the Manufacture Cup is the next day- Sunday November 5.

There are several entry times, with the earliest being 5PM Malaysian time (+8 GMT) and the last at 9PM. You only can enter the race once.

Another game update should also be coming- version 1.05, so make sure to get it updated first before jumping in. It is around 600MB in size.

We have no information on what exactly the rewards for participating in these races for the test season other than to experience some good online races at the time of writing. Daily races should still be available during this period.

UPDATE 4/11/17: With the new update comes a revision to how the Nations Cup and Manufacture Cup is being held. For the test season, it will begin from Saturday to the next Saturday- 7 different races. Only the best three finishes from the races are counted to your personal points tally so you can opt to pick and choose which race to participate. Both Cups will run races from 5.10-PM-9.00PM (Malaysian time).
