Devil May Cry 5 release is upon us. And Capcom graciously showed off some gameplay for one last time in their final dev stream gives us one last look at how the character action game is played at a high level. The one hour 30 minutes stream shows off all three playable characters (so far, probably). All three characters, played by content creators DevilNeverCry, Redgrave Kyo and community manager Matt Edwards, reached S rank on stream.
Also, it’s one of a better look of how V, the oddball new character for the sequel, plays like in full. As revealed before, he attacks by summoning three demons. Griffon is his long-range, Shadow acts as his melee attack and Nightmare is summoned by using something like a Devil Trigger.
Also, he also does not walk as slow as first expected, he can move around fast in-between fights as you expect the other two characters can.
Go to 8:48 for gameplay of Dante, 39:20 for Nero and 1:06:47 for V.
In addition, the stream had Nero’s scan model Karlo Baker on there as well, speaking about how the scanning process works and how he got in touch to be involved in the game. All of the photo-realistic scans were done at 2Lateral, a studio in Serbia specialised for the job.
Devil May Cry 5 will be out on March 8th for the PS4, PC (Steam) and Xbox One.
