The Crew Motorfest Season 9 Adds NASCAR, Track Creator, RC Cars And More

Drivers, start your engines! The Crew is putting the Motor in Motofest with Season 9, live today. The update to The Crew Motorfest adds the NASCAR Motorfest Tour Playlist where players get to race in one of the 16 NASCAR Cup cars with a story arc to follow.

The oval races makes use of the motorsport gameplay aspects of The Crew Motorfest which includes pit stop management.

The NASCAR cars include a generic version representing the three different car bodies based on the current NASCAR Next Gen (Gen 7) cars, as well as real liveries based on some of the big names currently in the grid (requires additional purchase). These vehicles are categorised under the new Cup Car category and like how the actual cars are, they all share the same performance values.

The NASCAR Motorfest Tour Playlist is now live. Now’s a good time to hop back in and experience how hard it can be to simply turn left all the time.

On top of that, The Crew Motorfest Season 9 also adds Trackforge, its custom track creator. Don’t call it Trackmania (though technically it could, that’s also a Ubisoft game), Trackforge lets you create your dream circuits, whether that’s planted and grounded as a proper Motorsport track, or wild and loopy like a Coaster. User-created tracks can be published and shared.

The last content drop of Season 9 will happen on May 6, where instead of going bigger and wilder, the action gets smaller. The RC Frenzy Playlist will have you race in RC cars, to scale. You are driving little toy cars around Hawaii, squeezing through tight gaps you never expected to be able to do. RC cars have a different handling system.

Interestingly, some RC car events even has you race from a top-down view, something out of RC De Go! or how one would view RC cars racing in real life.

The Crew Motorfest Season 9 will be adding a total of 31 new vehicles, some of which requires additional purchase. The new cars include the following:

  • March 4: NASCAR’s iconic Next Gen Ford Mustang Dark Horse Cup car (2024), Next Gen Chevrolet ZL1 Cup car (2025) (through the Year pass 3), and the Next Gen Toyota Camry XSE Cup car (2025) (as a shop addition).
  • April 1: Porsche 935 Racing car (2019) (Year Pass 3)
  • May 6: Two RC Cars, Phazr General Rally Raid (2026) and Phazr Trickshot Street Tier 1 (2026) (Year Pass 3)

The Crew Motorfest is out now on PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect) and Xbox Series X|S.
