At Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live, Ubisoft reveals that a Free Trial for The Crew Motorfest will be offered.
The Free Trial is available from September 14-17, which lets you play the open-world racing game for five hours. Any progression made is transferred to the full game once you purchase it later.
Even if you’re on the fence still, you can get a test drive around the streets of trails of O’ahu, Hawaii. See if the new handling physics vibes with you or not.
In addition, three upcoming cars of the 25 available in the Year 1 Pass has been revealed: the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody 2023, the Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1970 and the BMW M4 Competition Coupe. The Beemer includes a Liberty Walk body kit from the looks of it, which is nice.
The Year 1 Pass will net you the three mentioned cars at launch, and after that, 2 new cars are added per month. If purchased at a later date, the Year 1 Pass will add all previously released cars to your collection from previous months.
The Crew Motorfest takes a different turn for the long-running The Crew series as it moves to a new map and a new focus on festivals. Motorfest celebrates car culture with its curated Playlist events, and as mentioned before the handling physics has been significantly changed. There are still bikes, planes and boats, but cars definitely take centre stage for this entry.
The Crew Motorfest launches on September 14 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
