The Crew 2 is still being worked on and updated, with the next free update already revealed. Called Hot Shots, it will have a few more features being added to the open-world racer.
One that has been announced on a reveal livestream is the return of Live Summit. This is a timed PvE mode where you and your crew compete in themed events to gain rewards.
Nine events will be part of each Live Summit, 3 skills (short activities you can trigger in the open world), 4 existing events now fitted into the given theme, one new event and one special event that uses an existing map or playground but with a different vehicle discipline.
Each event will require you to purchase your own vehicle to join, no loaners. Rewards will be given out based on your performance in the Live Summit.
In addition, a teaser revealed that Mitsubishi Motors will be joining the series for the first time. Just like Forza Horizon 4 recently, we will get to some Lancer Evos to tune and race.
The Crew 2 Hot Shots will include these features and more yet to be revealed on another livestream on April 23rd. The update will be out on April 24th.
