The Crew 2, Ubisoft’s ambitious open-world racer was set to release early this year, but it was delayed for further polish. The Crew 2 is adding the ability to not only race cars and bikes, but also tackle the air and sea with planes and powerboats- and you can change to them at will at any time,. Screw logic, it’s a video game.
Ubisoft has announced the new release date will be June 29, with a beta coming soon before release. If you have not signed up yet, you can do so here.
June also will see the release of another arcade racer, Onrush, on June 5th. It’s a big enough gap between two racing games hopefully, because the last time good arcade racers were released closely, they all flopped sales-wise unfortunately.
