The Behemoth’s Game 5 Is A “New Reimagination” Of Alien Hominid

Indie developers The Behemoth is cooking up their next game. Fifth, to be exact. They have revealed that Game 5 is Alien Hominid Invasion.

Each of The Behemoth’s games so far has been new IPs tackling different-ish genres. Alien Hominid HD, the 2006 release based on a 2002 Flash game, is Game 1. Following that, they have made the co-op beat-’em-up Castle Crashers, the platformer Battleblock Theatre and strategy tactics game Pit People.

But Alien Hominid Invasion isn’t a sequel or a spin-off per se, but a “new reimagination” of the original shoot-’em-up.

Gameplay, progression, and mechanics have been reworked, with new weapons, character customisation and non-liner levels being added.

For those in North America and Europe, Alien Hominid Invasion will be playable at PAX East and EGX Rezzed. More details of the game will be shared at PAX.
