Tekken 8’s Explosive Trailer Shows More Returning Characters, Including Jun

Tekken 8, Bandai Namco’s hit 3D fighting game gets a new trailer at The Game Awards 2022. Following the teaser back at the State Of Play broadcast, this one shows more gameplay, more explosions and more characters other than just Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima.

A lot of the series’ staples are back with a redesign. Law now has nunchucks and Paul has new hair. Lars and King are seen. There’s also a new Jack (according to Tekken’s Twitter, it’s Jack-8). And Jun Kazama, last seen playable in Tekken 2 (and Tekken Tag 2), is here.

Father. Son. Mother. This family reunion is going to be explosive.  #TEKKEN 8 is bringing back old grudges to the new generation – Kazuya, Jin, Paul, King, Law, Lars, Jack-8 and… the return of Jun Kazama!

Apparently, the tagline for Tekken 8 is “Fist meets Fate”. Tekken really is a story about family after all. A messed-up family that throws family members down off cliffs, into volcanoes and into space, but family nonetheless.

Tekken 8 is coming to PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
