Remember Project Winter? It’s the eight-player co-op game about surviving an icy tundra, but there are two traitors among you.
Yes, it’s a lot like Among Us but with voice-proximity chat a core feature instead of an expensive mod. The game originally launched in 2019 on Steam.
Developer Other Ocean Interactive announced today that Project Winter is coming to Xbox and Windows 10 PCs. And it’s also going to be added to Xbox Game Pass.
For Xbox and Windows 10 (using the game from the Microsoft Store) players, cross-play is available, but no word if existing players on Steam can join in the fun.
With Among Us already on Game Pass for PC (and soon to consoles), here’s another good game like that you and your friends and family can try out. The game has a bit more mechanics at play like crafting, but it generally should hit the same spot.
Project Winter launches on Xbox consoles and PC via the Microsoft Store on January 26. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass (for console and PC) on the same date.
