Super SteamPuff, the mobile arcade multiplayer shooter by Weyrdworks, is now available on PC. The PC version, called Super SteamPuff: Double Reload, includes new content and “enhanced replayability,” but it should the same old shooter that has local co-op and local PvP if you’re up for a 2v2 showdown where you float up and down and shoot across the screen.
With the new content, Super SteamPuff: Double Reload includes 44 playable Puffs (each with a specific playstyle), 15 bosses to fight (including a Flying Spaghetti Monster, apologies to any Pastafarians out there) and an Endless Mode to see how long can you go. All this delivered in the whimsy 2D art style.
A demo is also available for Super SteamPuff Double Reload, which includes the following content:
- 8 Pufffs
- 4 boss battles
- Endless Mode (but up to Wave 6)
- Local multiplayer (co-op and PvP)
The original Super SteamPuff released on mobile devices almost a decade ago, in 2017. Since then, the indie game development team based in Malaysia has since released multiple titles, including its latest game Weyrdlets, the cosy desktop companion game which initially operated on a free-to-play model but is now a standalone purchase with version 2.0.
