Street Fighter 6 has a release date. At The Game Awards 2022, the release date for Capcom’s upcoming fighting game gets officially revealed.
In addition, we saw a new gameplay trailer showing off more of World Tour, the single-player mode. It definitely is a World Tour as you do get to explore more than just Metro City, USA. Jamaica, Italy, and France are other countries you’ll be setting foot in, where you can meet other “masters”, the playable characters in the Street Fighter 6 roster.

The trailer also showcased four more of these “masters”. Street Fighter veteran Dee Jay joins newcomers Manon, Marisa and JP.
Capcom has also released additional information on World Tour mode after the trailer release.

“Masters” can teach you their special move which your player avatar can equip. You can equip different specials from different masters, making your own moveset for your custom character.
In addition, in street fights during World Tour, don’t expect only 1-on-1 fights. But you can even the odds by calling in a master to join your fight for a limited time.
Travelling in World Tour mode requires money, so you can get some by doing part-time jobs. These are essentially mini-games where you do silly activities like smashing bottles.

Street Fighter 6 will launch on June 2, 2023 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S
