Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora – From The Ashes Expansion Now Available Alongside New Movie Release

Fans of Avatar, the James Cameron one, are in for a treat with a double-dose of media releases. Ubisoft has released a new expansion for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora alongside the worldwide theatrical release of the new film, Avatar: Fire And Ash.

The new expansion, From The Ashes, brings in Na’vi-Vs-Na’vi battles. You play as So’lek, who must face against the Mangkwan raiders (also known as the Ash Clan). The different members of the rival Na’vi clan will see you engage in different styles of combat, from sniper battles to aerial combat.

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora is an open world action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment (and Ubisoft Düsseldorf, Ubisoft Milan, Ubisoft Reflections, Ubisoft Romania, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Toronto as co-developers—Ubisoft likes to have one lead studio supported by various others around the world, this is normal) in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney Games.

Previously it was only a first-person affair, but a free update released on December 5 has added in the option to experience the world of Pandora in the third-person, alongside the addition of New Game+.

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora – From The Ashes, however, is a paid expansion. It’s included if you purchase Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes Edition, or Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Complete Edition.

The expansion is out now on PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
