Stranded: Alien Dawn Leaves Early Access, Releasing On Consoles This April

Stranded: Alien Dawn, the survival city-builder/base-builder game from Haemimont Games published by Frontier Foundry, will leave PC Early Access in April.

The game will also launch on consoles (for Gen 8 and Gen 9 consoles) on the same date.

Stranded: Alien Dawn takes you in determining the fate of a group of survivors who found themselves marooned on an alien planet. Get the crew together to build a base from the crash site, or see them flounder to their peril or death.

Survivors all have unique skills, traits and backstories. Your base starts from a humble shelter that later will evolve into a high-tech fortress.

If this sounds a lot like Rimworld, then you probably know what to expect from Stranded: Alien Dawn. But this game has 3D graphics.

Ahead of the full release, PC players will be getting the fourth major update, Sow And Sell, which introduces a Trading Outpost scenario where three traders willingly place themselves on an alien planet, with the goal to later sell it. Contrary to Premier Chedenko’s famous quip, space isn’t free of capitalism, apparently. The update also adds new farming crops as well and will arrive on March 28.

Stranded: Alien Dawn will leave Early Access and release in full on April 25 for PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Early Access is currently available on Steam.
