Stellar Blade is an interesting take on an action-adventure game, with light inspiration from soulslikes. The game shines best during its one-on-one boss fights on top of its quality presentation package (a pairing of a stellar soundtrack and graphical eye candy). Check out our review of the game here.
The PC release also offers the Nier Automata collab paid DLC, as part of the Complete Edition. This also includes a DLC collab with Shift Up’s other game, the free-to-play shooter on mobile, Goddess Of Victory: Nikke. And not just that, you will also get a “CD-Key” used to redeem Stellar Blade costume in Nikke, available until December 11.
Due to the game published by PlayStation, it will not be available in regions where PlayStation Store is not available, plus Vietnam. This is despite the game not requiring a PSN account to play. It’s been a recurring thing since Helldivers 2, which did resulted in PlayStation not forcing players to link their PSN and Steam accounts for their PC releases, but remains to refuse to sell the game in 120+ countries.
Stellar Blade releases on PC on June 11 (June 12 in Asia) via Steam and the Epic Games Store for RM249. That’s the Malaysian currency equivalent of a $60 USD (and thankfully not $70 USD or worse, $80 USD).
