Stellar Blade Launch Event In Malaysia Includes Cosplayer Meet-And-Greet

Attention PlayStation gamers in Malaysia. If you’re excited for the upcoming action soulslike Stellar Blade, the first console game by South Korean devs Shift Up, there will be launch event happening on April 27.

Stellar Blade will be on the show floor of Anime Fest+. Fans can get a hands-on of the game as well as various activities which where you can complete for a chance to win various Stellar Blade merch, including a Stellar Blade USB memory stick and, get this, a Stellar Blade vinyl record featuring the game’s original soundtrack.

You can also catch a glimpse of content creator Le Josette cosplaying as the game’s heroine Eve. There is a meet-and-greet session with Le Josette, but it’s only limited to 50 people and registration requires a pre-order of the game.

  • Date: Saturday, April 27th 2024
  • Time: 2 – 4pm
  • Venue: Anime Fest+, booth A25 & A26 in Tropicana Gardens Mall Convention Centre.
  • Note: Meet & Greet event is limited to 50 pre-order customers. Pre-registration is required. Successful registrations will receive confirmation email. 

Meet And Greet Registration Steps

  1. Pre-order Stellar Blade (Digital and Physical Edition)
  2. Submit via Online entry form with all required personal information and answer certain questions based on the Stellar Blade game.
  3. Entries with the right answer and most creative answers will be selected as the winners to attend the event. (Entries opens on 12th April 2024 till 21st April 2024). Successful registrations will receive confirmation email.

Initially revealed as Project EVE back in 2021, Stellar Blade will be a PlayStation exclusive title, Sony Interactive Entertainment will be publishing the game. From the gameplay trailers, it has the vibe of Nier Automata where a beautiful heroine with a drone companion traverse through a post-apocalyptic world fighting monsters to save humanity.

Though the gameplay, as players have found out via the now-available demo, isn’t fully a character action game in the style of Nier Automata. There’s some elements of a soulslike.

Stellar Blade launches on April 26 exclusively on PS5.
