PC platform Steam is renaming its limited-time game demo event, Steam Game Festival. Moving forward, it will now be known as Steam Next Fest.
“We’ve renamed the Steam Game Festival to more directly communicate its focus,” the description reads on the Steam event page here. It will still be the same online event as before: hundreds of game demos being made available for a limited time and there will developer livestreams.
The next Steam Next Fest is set for June 16 until June 22. If previous events have shown, it’s a great time to scour for upcoming indie games- especially when some of these demos might not resurface again.
