Bethesda released a trio of animated shorts to promote the upcoming release of Starfield. These make up “The Setteled Systems”, an animated anthology to give players a glimpse of what life is like in the three major cities you will be visiting in this space-faring RPG.
These shorts are under three minutes long, feature roughly animated artwork and no voice acting, but it definitely sells the vibe you’d expect from the upcoming game. You get to hear more of that luscious orchestra, so that’s good.
Supra Et Ultra sees New Atlantis courier pilot Kent make a career switch to become part of the Vanguard. And later make another career switch.
Where Hope Is Built shows a mechanic in Akila City named Vanna longing for adventure, and a glimpse of the Colony Wars.
And The Hand That Feeds feature street rats Ada and Harper in Neon, working their way up by doing petty crimes, with one of them landing a new gig thanks to the choice they made.
Bethesda has released a substantial walkthrough on what to expect from Starfield’s gameplay previously, including a summary of the three cities mentioned here.
The galaxy of Starfield will include hand-crafted cities and planets as well as some procedural-generated for players to explore.
Starfield releases on September 6 for Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). The game will also be available on Game Pass at launch.
