Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Free Update Adds New Game+, Combat Challenges, And More

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has received a free content update. The action-adventure game now has a New Game+ mode, or as referred in-game as New Journey +.

New Journey + lets you keep all collectibles (lightsaber parts, kyber crystal colors, and other aesthetic items including ponchos) and all opened chests will remain open. But any of Cal’s abilities will not carry over. For plot reasons.

There are other additions included in New Journey + mode. There is now Meditation Training, accessed from the many meditation points across the game. From here, you can try out and complete the new Combat Challenges. Or you can create your own custom challenge arena with Battle Grid which lets you set the room size and what enemies that spawn in the encounter. All enemies, including bosses, can be fought in either modes in Meditation Training.

Completing the Combat Challenges will net you new skins for BD-1. Cal also gets one new costume and some lightsaber parts- as seen in the image up top.

You can find the full patch notes here.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out now on PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin), and Xbox One.
