Star Wars Battlefront II’s Single-Player Mode Length Revealed

The new Star Wars Battlefront II will feature a single-player campaign alongside its main multiplayer modes. In an interview with Press-Start, EA Motive’s studio producer David Robillard has revealed the approximate length of the campaign.

“We thought that around 5-7, maybe 8 hours is probably a good amount of time,” he said. “We wanted to stay very driven towards the Star Wars fantasy that the players are going to experience and not have it be drawn out.”

For an extra content, a single-player mode of that length should be a fine addition. Given that there won’t be any other Star Wars single-player game anytime soon, EA recently shut down Visceral Games, the studio that was working on that, this should suffice for now.

The new Star Wars Battlefront II will feature more content than the first new Battlefront, covering the main movies, the prequels as well as the new movie sequels. The game received some bad feedback during its beta test thanks to the loot box system that gated upgrades, though the system should see some slight changes before its release.

Star Wars Battlefront II comes out on November 17 for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
