Stadia, Google’s game streaming platform, is bolstering its much-needed first-party developer lineup with a second studio at Playa Vista, California, USA.
The new Playa Vista studio will be helmed by Shannon Studstill. She previously was the head of studio at Sony Santa Monica, the team that brought us God Of War (2018) among many other stellar games.
Stadia’s first studio has been set up in Montreal, Canada, and also acquired another Montreal studio, Typhoon Studios (Journey To The Savage Planet).
Stadia is currently having a draught of games, as well as questions still pertaining to its service quality. But looks like Google isn’t giving up just yet.
