Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher Returns As An AI Partner In New Ghost Recon Wildlands Mission

Prepare to do a stealth mission in Ghost Recon Wildlands as two Tom Clancy IPs collide. As part of the Year 2 rollout of new content for Wildlands, a special mission featuring Sam Fisher of Splinter Cell fame will be available to all players.

Unlike the limited-time Predator mission, the Ghosts squad is working together with Fisher. The first part of the mission requires the squad to go completely ghost-stealth only, no kills- but then help defend Fisher as hack through some sensitive info while enemies come to stop him.

The mission pitch does not sound as fun on paper, but hey at least we get to see the good old Sam Fisher again, last seen in Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013. He is also voiced again by Micheal Ironside.

Aside from the new Splinter Cell mission, the latest update to Wildlands adds a bew PVP class, new PVP mode, several cosmetics as well extra cosmetics for Year 2 pass owners. Customisation of AI-controlled teammates and night vision goggles animation will also included in the upcoming update set to arrive on April 10.
