Sony’s E3 Showcase Dated, Four Games Confirmed To Be Featured

Sony finally announced the date for its E3 presser. The publisher has a history of big reveals or at least a strong showcase of gameplay in the case of last year’s, so it’s something to be excited about.

Confirmed on the Playstation Blog by SIE Chairman Shawn Layden, the showcase will be held on June 11, 6PM PDT (that’s June 12th, 9AM Malaysian time,+8GMT). Four games have been confirmed to be featured and they are:

  • Death Stranding (Kojima Productions)
  • Ghost Of Tsushima (Sucker Punch)
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man (Insomniac Games)
  • The Last Of Us Part II (Naughty Dog)

Spider-Man is already close to release, digital pre-orders are now up for PS Store Asia, so this should be the last preview we may see until its launch. Ghost Of Tsushima is still the most unknown of the list as in it was only announced at Paris Games Week last year with a teaser trailer.

Outside of the main four, expect other third-party games and indie games to share the spotlight as well. The showcase will be streamed live on live.playstation.com, Twitch, YouTube and Facebook.
