Hotel for gamers? Esports organisation SEM9 has announced the opening of the SEM9 Senai Esports Hotel located in Senai, Johor, Malaysia.
Dubbed as “Southeast Asia’s First Esports Hotel”, the SEM9 Senai Esports Hotel offers rooms equipped with high-spec gaming PCs so you can stay in and game. And for the non-PC gamers, there are rooms with PS5 setups (with 2 controllers) as well.
There are seven different rooms with various sets of gaming setups (and four different regular rooms without gaming setups) that can accommodate from 2 to five guests.
All rooms in the hotel include access to high-speed broadband and mobile internet access.
And if you’re a fan of SEM9, the hotel has Merchandise Zone which offers the org’s jerseys, collectibles and other paraphernalia for those who want to rep the brand.
The hotel, which has 122 rooms total (including the regular rooms sans gaming setup) is located just three minutes away from the Senai International Airport, and less than an hour of a journey by car to reach the local attractions including Legoland Malaysia and Johor Premium Outlets.
SEM9 Senai’s gaming room will be open to book starting June 1. Prices start from RM220 for a full day, and RM115 for half-day bookings.
