Selangor Cyber Games Set To Host Malaysia’s Biggest 1V1 FIFA Online 3 Tournament Yet

The Selangor Cyber Games 2017 will play host to three different game tournaments open to local players as well as the stage for the Grand Finals of The Legends Circuit Summer 2017 for League Of Legends. The three games are Dota 2, FIFA Online 3 and Tekken 7.

For FIFA Online 3, the tournament will be a 1V1 affair rather than the standard 3v3 teams setup. This makes the RM30,000 prize pool tournament the biggest 1v1 FIFA Online 3 tournament yet.

256 players have registered and confirmed to play at the event held at Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya from August 12-13. Competing players have a chance to win three new Ultimate Legends players (Diego Maradona, Thierry Henry and Ronaldo Nazario) introduced in a recent patch as part of a lucky draw. Players coming to the venue wearing football jerseys can also qualify to win win FIFA Online 3 merchandise and Logitech F310 game pads.

In other news, registration for the Tekken 7 tournament has been closed as all slots have been filled. This year marks the fourth year of the Selangor Cyber Games, endorsed by the state government to “assist the younger generation’s development and potential by creating a wholesome environment through esports.”
