“Brain punk” action RPG Scarlet Nexus gets a demo for console players. The demo is now live on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The demo will also be available on PS4 and PS5 on May 28, one week after the Xbox demo. No word of a demo version for PC.
The demo lets you play either of the two protagonists. Yuito has closed-ranged attacks with swords and can “borrow” Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Clairvoyance and Sclerokinesis powers from team members.
Whereas Kanase uses flying knives that attacks at mid-range. She has access to Electrokinesis, Hypervelocity, Invisibility and Duplication, depending on who is in the party.
Scarlet Nexus was first revealed on Xbox’s stage, with a lot of marketing associating it with Xbox, which should explain the one-week early demo.
Scarlet Nexus releases on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on June 25.
