SNK has announced that its well-received new entry to the weapon-based fighting game, Samurai Shodown, will be coming to Steam.
Samurai Shodown (2019) is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nitntendo Switch, Stadia and is on PC via the Epic Games Store. It seems that the Epic exclusivity is ending, which is why we will be seeing a Steam release later this June.

The timing of the Steam release will coincide with the release of the game’s next Season Pass 3 DLC character: Shiro Tokisada Amakusa. Amakusa is the boss character who first appeared in the original Samurai Shodown. He also made an appearance in Samsho IV and V.
Amakusa will be the third DLC character of four for Season Pass 3, joining Cham Cham, Hibiki Takane (from The Last Blade), and a yet-to-be-revealed character from the Guilty Gear Series.
Samurai Shodown is coming to Steam on June 14, alongside the release of Amakusa.
