After the annual Capcom Cup tournament has wrapped up at PSX 2017, Capcom made the announcement of all the new characters coming for the third season of Street Fighter V. As expected from all the cherry blossom petals in a teaser before this, Sakura will make her appearance in the next season.
Sporting a new look, Sakura still has some of her classic shoto movesets, inspired by her idol Ryu, but the new V-Triggers should spice things up. She will be the first character to appear for Season 3 of character DLC.
In addition, three other fan favorites will be appearing as well. Blanka, Cody and the character fans have been clamouring for so long, Sagat will all be available sometime this year alongside two new characters, Falke and G.
All these characters will be unlockable either with the in-game Fight Money or by buying it as DLC. The character pass gets you all the characters for the season alongside additional costumes.
Sakura will be playable when Street Fighter V Arcade Edition arrives in January 16.
