Rustler Is A Medieval GTA Style Game That Looks Intriguing,Out In Early Access Next February

Top-Down open-world style games has been far rarer in the indie space, with only a few handful of titles that had capture the arcadey fun of classics such as the original first two GTA titles.

But perhaps the folks at Jutsu Games might have something that satisfied that itch with their latest title, Rustler.

You play as The Guy, who would do a lot of things to going the Grand Tournament. Be it making weird alliances, double-cross your foes, shoot and/or fight knights, and of course, steal horses. There’s even a Bard who acts as your radio, which sounds ridiculous but is in-tandem with the game’s historically inaccurate setting.

Their latest Early Access trailer even recreate the look and feel of GTA 2’s iconic intro, which I approved wholly.

Ruslter is coming to Steam Early Access on February 18, which you can wishlist now. There’s a Prologue too if you want to try out the game for yourself here.
