Rockstar Games Announces GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition For Consoles And PC

After much speculation, Rockstar Game has finally reveal the work that their recent acquire, Rockstar Dundee, has been working over the year, and that is the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

The title itself is a throwback when the 3D-Era GTA games were sold together back in the PS2 days, and this edition perhaps now combines all three games in one neat package.

The game is stated to be build from the ground-up and includes both graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, but still keeping the original look and feel.

No other info has been given besides these tidbits, but the Trilogy of games will also launch for the Nintendo Switch, a decade since any GTA title was available for Nintendo, with the last one being Chinatown Wars in 2009.

Rockstar will also be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of GTA III with special in-game events and items in GTA Online, with them also teasing a new content update at the end of the year.

With that said, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will launch this year for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, along with Nintendo Switch and PC via Rockstar’s Launcher, and the mobile versions coming in 2022.
