Resident Evil 4 Remake Sold 3 Million Copies In Just Two Days Of Release

In just two days of its launch, the 2023 remake of Resident Evil 4 has sold over 3 million copies.

Publisher Capcom also revealed that as of December 31, 2022, the Resident Evil series has cumulatively sold 135 million units.

Expect that sales number to grow even higher down the line. 3 million copies in two days is a tremendous achievement. And it shows that players are convinced that the remake of the 2005 game, which to some is already perfect as it is even today, is good enough to pick up as soon as it launches.

Resident Evil 4 also has a demo, the Chainsaw Demo, and early reviews for the game released a week ahead of the game’s release were mostly positive.

We’re still working on our own thoughts about Resident Evil 4 (2023) so stay tuned for our review soon.
