Resident Evil 3 Demo Drops On March 19th

The remake for Resident Evil 3, like the Resident 2 remake, is getting a demo ahead of its release.

There’s no time-limit gimmick this time around, so you get to survive the horror Jill Valentine is undertaking for as long as you like. In fact, Capcom encourages you to scour the demo’s scenery this time. There are twenty Mr. Charlie statues, as collectibles, spread around Racoon City. There will be an on-screen counter displaying how many you’ve found.

The demo for Resident Evil 3 will drop on March 19th for the PS4 and Xbox One. It will also be released on PC via Steam on March 20th. Games on Steam this year seem to be released one day later in Southeast Asia, it seems.

UPDATE 19/3/20: Demo for Resident Evil 3 for PS4 can be found here.

Next week, Resident Evil Resistance, the new multiplayer experience included in RE3, will get an open beta test next week- March 27th for PS4 and Xbox One and March 28th for PC via Steam. It will end when Resident Evil 3 properly launches on April 3rd.
