Playstation Asia has slowly been unraveling the games that will be available at the upcoming PSX SEA 2018, set to be held in Thailand this time. Now one big title that should be on many survival horror fans’ radar is set to arrive.
Resident Evil 2, i.e. Resident Evil 2 Remake is a new take on the classic survival horror sequel, utilising the RE Engine seen in Resident Evil VII while using the perspective from Resident Evil 4- over-the-shoulder 3rd-person view. Resident Evil 2 has you play rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield, the sister to Chris from the first game in search of his brother while Racoon City is being infected with the virus that’s turning the dead into zombies.
Resident Evil 2 will not have the zapping system where you can choose to play either Claire or Leon first, which then will have some slight changes to the flow of the game. However, based on the E3 build that can be seen played by various outlets, many scenes will be faithful to the original, but the scares are remixed a bit to keep them remain scary in the first blind run.
The remake of the classic survival-horror game, Resident Evil 2, is making its way to #PSXSEA2018. Come on down and be one of the first to try it in Southeast Asia!
