If you’re a cat person, and just want a relaxing, comfy game, here’s one to take a look. Calico is a community sim build by two-person developer Peachy Keen Games, and it’s about you rebuilding a cat cafe.
Calico lets you create your own magical person with various skin tone, hair type and body shape, and you can find more clothing options throughout the game. Also, cats will be all over the town and you can interact with every one of them. Once you befriend them, you can have them follow you, send them to your cat cafe or just let them roam free wherever they want like cats do.
There are other animals outside of cats too.
You can also decorate your cat cafe to your liking, and engage in cooking mini-games that let you bake or make drinks for the townfolks.
There’s also a magic system. You can make potions to turn cats into giant, rideable cats.
Calico is out now on PC via the Epic Games Store, and it’s coming to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch soon.
