Private Division To Publish Games From Moon Studios, League of Geeks, and Roll7

Private Division, the indie publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, has sign publishing deals with three different developers: Moon Studios, League of Geeks, and Roll7.

Moon Studios are the makers of the Ori series. They’ve made Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. With Private Division, their next game will be a new action RPG.

“Developing the Ori series over the last decade has been a fantastic experience for our team, and we’re thrilled to now be aiming our sights even higher with a new action RPG,” said Thomas Mahler and Gennadiy Korol, co-founders of Moon Studios.

League of Geeks are developers based in Australia, and the makers of compelling startegy/board game Armello. They will be making a new IP in partnership with Private Division.

“This partnership provides the opportunity for us to grow our studio alongside our ambitions to create something beyond anything we’ve developed before,” said Blake Mizzi, co-founder and director at League of Geeks.

Finally, Roll7 are the London-based developers, the makers of the OlliOlli series, NOT A HERO, and Laser League. They will be continuing to be making “flow state” games, like their previous creations.

“Our titles resonate with players because we strive for super solid game feel, highly refined gameplay, and simple but highly masterable mechanics,” said John Ribbins, chief creative officer at Roll7. “We’re really excited to be working with Private Division on our next title and we can’t wait for players to get their hands on it.”

All three games are not expected to be coming anytime soon. The first of these games will be launching at least after Take-Two’s fiscal year 2022. So 2023 the soonest.
