Playstation Experience SEA Announced, Coming To Malaysia This August

Playstation Experience (PSX) is the annual Sony fan event held at Anaheim, California. Aside from the hype-induced announcements on their keynote (last year we saw the announcement of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Marvel VS Capcom Infinite), the event is open for the general public to see and try out upcoming games. Think of conventions like PAX, or something like E3 this year but more geared for fans.

Interestingly Sony is branching out from just making one PSX. They are giving some love to us gamers here in Southeast Asia with the announcement of Playstation Experience SEA. It will be a one-day event at KL Live at Life Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia happening on August 5. Entry starts as early as 10AM and will last until 10PM.

The games being shown on the floor are playable builds that was featured at E3 last month. This includes:

  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Everybody’s Golf
  •  Far Cry 5
  • Gran Turismo Sport
  •  Knack 2
  • No Heroes Allowed! VR

Entry is free of charge. Yes, free.

With it being a one day event free for everyone, it will surely be a crowded experience. But the good news is that game companies are willing to do such events for us here in this region.
