Playstation Backs Off Idea To Close Down PS3 And PS Vita’s Store, For Now

So the Players have won this time.

Jim Ryan, the CEO and President of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has stated on it’s Blog that their notion to close down the PS3 and PS Vita online store will be not going forward.

He states that PlayStation has “made the wrong decision here” and sees how passionate the community is in playing and buying these classic games within these two infrastructures, with a solution now in place to help the service continue on.

So for now, Players can relax and rest assured that their games on the PS3 and Vita won’t disappear. Yet.
