PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Continues To Sell- 4 Million Copies In Just 3 Months

So how popular is this new standalone Battle Royale game led by the person who has made Battle Royale mods? Very popular. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is still in Early Access but it is now set to be one of the biggest games of the year in terms of sales, selling like hot cakes.

PlayerUnknown himself, otherwise known as Brendan Green, broke the news in this tweet below.

And if you visit the Steam Store lately, despite the ongoing Summer Sales PUBG remains on the top of the top sellers list. The game having discounts isn’t stopping anyone from buying.

PUBG has grown exponentially over the few months. It has now catch on to be a popular streaming game to play and watch others play. Thankfully the game is continuously being worked on- PlayerUnknown showed that a vaulting system is in the works to make movement be more fluid during the PC Gaming Show at E3, and more weapons are on the way.

We expect the 100-man multiplayer showdown will continue to rise as PUBG becomes available on consoles. It is set to debut on Xbox One first, with the possibility to be out on the PS4 once the timed exclusivity deal is done.
