Phantom Blade Zero, the upcoming game by S-Game, is getting a dedicated State Of Play broadcast this month, as teased previously.
The Phantom Blade Zero August 2026 State Of Play broadcast will go live on August 18 10 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT.
The 20-ish minutes livestream will be a deep dive into the upcoming game’s gameplay system, from its combat to the dark wuxia land dubbed Phantom World.
The new teaser trailer announcing this news also feature the appearance of one Donnie Yen. The Hong Kong actor is a creative consultant for Phantom Blade Zero since 2023, where he helped the developers with his martial arts and action filmmaking skills. On top of that, Yen himself will appear in Phantom Blade Zero, he serves as the facial and motion capture actor for Mó Yuan, father of the protagonist, Soul.
Phantom Blade Zero isn’t published by PlayStation, but the console maker oftentimes use the State Of Play livestreams to promote upcoming 3rd party published games. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Borderlands 4 previously were featured in this manner.
Phantom Blade Zero releases on October 29 for the PS5 and PC (Steam). Pre-orders are now live.
