The remake of Persona 3, Persona 3 Reload, now has a release date. Sega Asia has released a new trailer for Atlus’ much-loved JRPG, remade in Unreal Engine.
Persona 3 follows a group of students that are part of Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) as they uncover the Dark Hour phenomena. Every day, you’ll be balancing school and student life and crawling through a dungeon.
Also, they summon their Personas by shooting themselves in the head.
The remake brings a multitude of quality-of-life updates in its gameplay, remade graphics (even the animated cutscenes are remade) and even new music and slicker UI. The new battle theme, “It’s Going Down Now”, is just as a bop as the original’s “Mass Destruction”.
Persona 3 Reload releases on February 2, 2024 on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will also launch on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass at launch.
