PC Building Simulator 2 Announced, Open Beta Now Live

Spiral House’s PC Building Simulator game is getting a sequel. PC Building Simulator 2 was announced at the Epic Games Store Summer Showcase, and Epic Games will be publishing it.

PC Building Simulator 2 will be building on top of the foundations of its predecessor, being a proper simulation of what it’s like to assemble a computer, and yes that includes gaming PCs, from scratch.

And this is not some low-budget jokey “simulator” game either, there are over 1200 officially licensed PC parts from the likes of AMD, Intel, Nvidia and even the enthusiast brands like Thermal Grizzly.

PC Building Simulator 2 will also have a 30+ career mode where you take on many jobs of building PCs, improved graphics, workshop and PC Case customisation, and other new features including:

  • thermal imaging
  • power monitoring
  • revamped thermal paste
  • custom VRM/RAM/GPU water blocks

If you ever want to build a PC of your own but dread the cost of making mistakes on expensive (and also of limited stock these days) items, then this is exactly what you need.

PC Building Simulator 2 is currently available in open beta on the Epic Games Store (it’s an Epic Games Store exclusive). Trying out the beta will net you a 15% discount on the game when it launches later this year.
