Overpass is an off-road racing game that’s less about covering the distance, but more about navigating the rough terrain, artificial or natural. Climbing over pipes, logs, boulders are the name of the game, with open-ended solutions to find the fastest way around the races. It’s more of a puzzler than a racing game, like the first gameplay video has shown previously.
This new video showcases the many modes Overpass includes, as well as a showcase of the many licensed ATVs and buggies you get to ride. It’s a super niche game, but a niche we rarely seen being covered in video games.
Alongside the trailer, Nacon (the publishers previously named Bigben) have announced that Overpass is getting slightly delayed for consoles (for North America at least), though it should still be on track for a release date on PC.
Overpass will now be coming out on PC (Epic Games Store) on February 27th, and to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on March 17th.
