Nintendo Switch 2 Releases In Malaysia In July

Nintendo Switch 2 has a staggered worldwide launch. While the console is now available in most markets on June 5, the next-gen successor to Switch is only releasing in Southeast Asia later this month. Though for Malaysia, the official release of the Switch 2, with local warranty and MSRP, will be a tad later.

As revealed on the Nintendo Switch 2 Malaysia website, it’s now set to launch on July 3. That’s exactly one week later compared to the official launch in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.

There hasn’t been official MSRP for the Switch 2 and its games direct from Nintendo just yet.

While the official sets is still coming soon, local retailers have started selling imported Switch sets from other regions. So technically you can get your hands on a Switch 2 right now. But if you’re in Southeast Asia waiting for the official release, with local warranty and pricing, it’s only a fortnight, or three weeks for Malaysians, away until proper launch.

The launch of Nintendo Switch 2 will also come with the launch of the Nintendo e-Shop in Southeast Asia.
