Acer Malaysia announced the arrival of a new Acer Nitro gaming monitor today, one of the first to support HDMI 2.1 in the country.
The Acer Nitro XV282K KV gaming monitor has a “Designed For Xbox” label, a seal of approval showing that it works well with the Xbox Series X|S consoles. To signify that, the cable management piece at the back is green in colour.
Despite the Xbox branding, The new XV2 monitor should totally work with other consoles like the PS5, and also with any other PC, as well.
It has HDMI 2.1 ports, AMD Freesync Premium, supports 4K resolution at 144Hz refresh rate, and has HDR (VESA DisplayHDR 400). So it’s totally next-gen-console ready, if you prefer to play console games on a 28-inch monitor rather than a larger TV with the same specs.

The Acer Nitro XV282K KV gaming monitor is now available in Malaysia from Acer’s e-store, Acer official online stores on Shopee and Lazada and other authorised partners.
Early bird purchases before October 6 will include a free Predator Aethon 300 keyboard and Predator Cestus 310 mouse worth RM589 in total.
