The Ascent, the new action-RPG shooter from Neon Giant, looks promising. It’s a top-down twin-stick shooter set in a cyberpunk world. From the looks of the new trailer, it maybe a fun time, especially with friends.
The new trailer, debuted at the ID@Xbox showcase stream, shows footage of The Ascent when played in co-op up to 4 players. There are support skills that can give your buddies protection. And the carnage with four players firing away looks crunchy and satisfying.
And there’s short bit where the camera is lower, turning the game into something like Contra.
The Ascent will be coming out this year for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will launch on Xbox Game Pass (Console, PC) on day one of its release.
